1. Who we are
Pleasant Run A/C & Heat, LLC (“we”, “us”) is a licensed heating and air conditioning contractor operating in the Dallas-Fort Worth area under Texas TACL license TACLA00087393C. These terms apply to this website and to the service work we perform for you.
2. This website
Everything on this site is provided for general information about our services. Descriptions of equipment, symptoms, and repairs are general guidance, not a diagnosis of your system. Only an on-site inspection can tell you what is actually wrong.
3. Requesting service
Submitting a request through this website, by text, or by email is a request, not a confirmed appointment. An appointment exists only once we have confirmed a specific date and time with you directly. We may decline work that is outside our service area, outside our license scope, or that we judge unsafe.
4. Diagnostic fee and estimates
A diagnostic visit is $75. That fee covers the trip and the time to inspect and diagnose your system, and it is applied toward the cost of the repair if you have us perform the work.
Repair and installation estimates are based on what is visible and testable at the time of inspection. If we open a system and find additional problems, we will stop, explain what we found, and get your approval before doing additional work or charging additional amounts.
5. Pricing and payment
Payment is due when the work is completed, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Prices quoted are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Prices may change if equipment or refrigerant costs change materially before the work begins, and we will tell you before proceeding.
6. Cancellation and rescheduling
Call or text us at (469) 268-7494 as early as you can if you need to reschedule. If you cancel after our technician has already arrived, the diagnostic fee may still apply.
If you signed a contract with us at your home rather than at our place of business, Texas law may give you three business days to cancel. Any cancellation rights required by Texas law apply regardless of anything in these terms.
7. Access and safe working conditions
You agree to give us safe, reasonable access to the equipment, including attics, closets, crawl spaces, and outdoor units. We may decline or stop work if conditions are unsafe, if there is active electrical or gas hazard, or if animals or obstructions prevent safe access. We are not responsible for delays caused by conditions outside our control.
8. Workmanship warranty
We warrant our workmanship for 90 days from the date of service. If something we repaired fails because of how we did the work, call us and we will make it right.
Equipment and parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty, not ours. We will help you register and claim manufacturer warranties, but the manufacturer decides those claims.
This warranty does not cover: failures caused by other equipment or other contractors; damage from power surges, floods, storms, freezing, pests, or misuse; systems that were not maintained; or problems in parts of the system we were not asked to work on.
9. Older systems
Repairing an aging system carries risk. Components adjacent to the failed part can fail during or shortly after a repair simply because of age. We will tell you honestly when we think a system is near the end of its life, but we cannot guarantee that repairing one part will keep the rest running.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Texas law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to work we performed is limited to the amount you paid us for that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost income, spoiled food, hotel costs, or damage from a condition that already existed before we arrived. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Complaints
Please call us first at (469) 268-7494 so we can try to fix it. Air conditioning and refrigeration contractors in Texas are regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, PO Box 12157, Austin, Texas 78711, (800) 803-9202, www.tdlr.texas.gov, and unresolved complaints may be directed there.
12. Text messages
If you ask us to text you, message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. See our Privacy Policy for details.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Dallas County, Texas.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version posted here on the date you request service is the version that applies to that work.
